After being there and seeing the way my wife is treated then i was so happy that i wasn't mistaken chosing Kensington wing at all, therefore i recommend everyone seeing this message to only chose this hospital if you want to have a peace of mind and leave your wife and new born baby in safe hands. I've emailed the unit to ask what their policy is, not sure if I can pre-book a room now, on the understanding that if any 'private women' need it they'll get priority. I selected to take my wife to Kensington Wing for delivery because from abroad i knew that its a right choice and the hospital can be rated as number One in the world. All pre-natal exams and tests are conducted, and your chosen obstetrician/consultant will continue to monitor your pregnancy and baby’s development.
Our care has been extraordinary and beyond all of our expectations. The only downside is that there is no guarantee of a room on the private ward. We felt that the level of care was safe and all staff from cleaners to consultants were conscientious and engaged in the health and progress of mum and baby. However these are extra night costs and are on top of the other fees you pay, which vary. We felt calm and well looked after.

You must log in as a Patient to book an appointment. The Kensington Wing is a 16 bed ward though so you stand a good chance, although the private postnatal option is quite popular so you may find that any spare rooms do get booked up by NHS patients desperate to swerve the NHS postnatal ward. We had the loveliest experience at the Kinsington Wing. Nice team, rooms should have own heating / air con facilities. I only wish everyone having a baby could experience it this way.
Since 2002 we have tailored our private maternity services with expectant parent(s) front of mind. We have been truly cared for by excellent staff. I would be looking at just booking the room for the postnatal care, so £850 per night - I hoped to be able to book it in advance (if we decide to go private) as I aleady know my section date, but it makes sense that availability will depend on women who have booked to go private for the whole package. Inez, Olivia and Lucy were great. The staff, everyone from the Receptionist to the Midwives and Consultants, were very helpful and friendly, the premises were clean and even during the global pandemic, we felt very safe at the Wing. There were times that it seemed as though the wing was understaffed and there wasn’t anyone around. From pre-natal care to post-natal care and everything in between, the Kensington Wing at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is truly an unmatched private pregnancy hospital experience.

Midwife Nima is extraordinary, she helped a lot and she was one of the best things during this experience. Can not emphasise how wonderful all the healthcare providers were. The birth of your baby is a very special time for you and your family.
We are so appreciative of everything. Should any complications arise, a trained obstetrics consultant is always on call and assigned to your case, and can step in at a moment’s notice.

Waiting for TTO the entire morning and rooms not clean enough, Our room heater was not working so it was very cold but it was very good experience, We have a bit of an issue with wait time. The Kensington Wing offers a range of birthing and baby delivery options with the highest standards of care available for each. If it's full with private patients then you'd have to stay on the NHS postnatal. Amazing care.

Also, if they suddenly have a rash of private patients going into labour early and need all the rooms (unlikely I would think but you never know...) then you would be moved off the ward. All the antenatal care and the delivery was done at C&W on the NHS.Once I was in recovery after the C-section I got my husband to call the Kensington Wing and book me a room.
