It would have been more amazing if it was done the way it really happened. So much symbolism in this series, between the rainbow lined jacket, the rainbow striped Tee, even the sonic is horribly designed. From what I am learning, Chibnall and Whittaker will be leaving in 2020, after that season wraps, and the final new year's special airs.
The console and pillar space reminds me of the 8th's in terms of the 'encapsulated' nature of the space, but it is it's own thing for sure.
My first thought on looking at the central console was, "Superman wants his fireplace back.". It works best in situations that test the basic human ideal, the moralism of human reasoning in situations that were never conceived of before. That was the villain's only motivation.. Besides the over use of crystal (yes you can use it and still look cool), I am struck at how SMALL it looks.
