The pacing was fairly slow, and for it being about a girl trying to save her clan and running from the ‘someone else’ looking for her it was relatively a stress free read.

I have seen this book around a few times, but your review is the first one I’m reading. . That’s the thing…I wasn’t stressed but I was interested. They have only survived thanks to her mentor and his like-minded friends leaving society for the wilds of Alaska shortly before it all came to pass.
